Hiring a room at Christ Church

 

Christ Church URC is an active church and part of the Marlow Community. When our rooms are not in use by the church we welcome both regular and occasional bookings of them.

 

Wessex Hall - large hall (37ft x 39 ft) With vinyl floor and ceiling with acoustic tiles this is a multi-functional room suitable for many larger groups and events. Folding seats and tables are stored in one corner. The room has six slim pillars with cushions fitted at their base.

 

Cornerstone Room - A formal meeting room with central tables and chairs, suitable for 10 to 15 people. Whiteboard.

 

Tower Room - Suitable for informal group meetings of up to 10 people on comfy seats (no disabled access).

 

Worship Area - Seats up to 100 people in 'theatre' style with movable chairs. Typically used for speaker meetings, concerts and training courses.

 

Kitchen  - Available to all hirers of rooms. Fully fitted with gas cooker, industrial dishwasher etc and a servery to the Hall. Crockery and cutlery also available.

 

There are good toilet facilities (including disabled) in the building. Please enquire for use of piano, sound system, etc.

 

Car Parking. Evening users have use of the whole car park, with space for over 30 cars. Daytime users are restricted to the front car park which accommodates 8-10 vehicles. Space may have to be shared with other users.  Public (paying) car parking is available over the road at Riley Road (behind Sainsbury's).

There are currently car park spaces available for hire by business users only on weekdays from 7am - 6pm. Minimum contract length 6 months.
